This year for Sexual Assault Awareness Week we are asking for anonymous quotes or stories regarding experiences of bias, sexual harassment, and/or sexual violence. These experiences will be shared (anonymously) via our media releases and passive campaigns throughout the week.
1) Whiteboard photograph campaign
We seek to give survivors their voice and power in a photograph campaign displaying submitted experiences of sexual violence written on whiteboards. We want to encourage healing through art, and counter the culture of silence that shames, blames, and isolates survivors of sexual violence.

2) Mannequin exhibit
Together with the Ithaca Advocacy Center, we will be creating an exhibit featuring clothing items that a victim or survivor was wearing at the time of their incident. (Note: a description would also suffice and the clothes can be sourced elsewhere.) These exhibits are meant to stir reflection, raise the consciousness of the student body, and bring awareness to the pervasiveness of sexual violence on our campus and at large.
After our week concludes, the Ithaca Advocacy Center will be continuing this exhibit as a "moving museum" around Ithaca to shed light on the varied experiences of survivors and victims. Your clothing does not necessarily have to be used in the moving museum component of the exhibit.

FOR THIS, YOU CAN SIMPLY DESCRIBE THE CLOTHING YOU WERE WEARING, WITHOUT ANY OTHER DETAILS, AND WE WILL PURCHASE THE CLOTHING FOR OUR EXHIBIT.
